HydroEQ Inc. (HydroEQ) and Coanda Research & Development (Coanda) have formed a strategic partnership that brings together HydroEQ's deep understanding of water and geochemical processes with Coanda's proficiency in experimental design, modeling, and instrumentation. The result is a combined service team that is well positioned to tackle complex environmental challenges in water and mine waste management.
Our two organizations have a longstanding history of collaboration in designing custom analytical and instrumentation programs and models to address critical challenges in mine waste management, including successful execution of large-scale laboratory and pilot studies, monitoring programs, and advanced geochemical modelling initiatives. This partnership is an extension of that collaborative process, with both organizations remaining independent entities but with a commitment and focus on working more closely and seamlessly together to offer our mining clients a unique service package.

Coanda is an industrial R&D service provider bringing over three decades of experience in solving complex engineering problems across industries including mining, petrochemicals, and biotechnology. Their expertise includes process scaling, modelling, instrumentation, and Computational Fluid Dynamics. Their first-principles approach leveraging in-house expertise across multiple disciplines, robust lab facilities spanning 70,000 ft² in Edmonton and Burnaby, and capabilities in modelling and instrumentation has established them as a leader in industrial R&D.
